AFL heads for China!

ALL FOR LIBERTY has been invited as an Official Selection to the Beijing International Film Festival (http://www.beijingfilmfest.org/). AFL will screen during BIFF's International Movie Week, February 28-March 6. In addition, a special screening will be held March 20-21 in tandem with a Japanese film about World War II, WINGS OF HEAVEN.

About Us

ALL FOR LIBERTY began as a stage play, CAPTAIN FELDER'S CANNON, consisting of a series of dramatic monologues for four actors written by Clarence Felder. A production directed by Chris Weatherhead was presented for several years by the Actors Theatre of South Carolina. From this came the film project which spanned over five years in the making, with a cast of many hundreds of actors and over 40 organized regiments of reenacters. Production took place in Charleston, in the South Carolina Low Country, and Georgia, often in the actual locations of the historic events. Post production took place in Miami, Charleston , Orlando and Boston

ALL FOR LIBERTY made its world premiere in March of 2009 at the New Beijing Film Festival. It won three Accolade Competition Awards for Best Feature, Lead Actor and Sound Design. Film festival awards include a Special Jury Prize, a Platinum Award ( 1st Prize) for Best Trailer, and a Gold Award (2nd Priize) for Art Direction at Worldfest Houston 2009; Audience Award for Best Feature at Charleston International Film Festival 2009; Best Feature - Faith Based category at Myrtle Beach International Film Festival 2009
